Đỗ Phương Nhi tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ Ngành Biểu Diễn Violin vào năm 2022 tại Học viện Âm nhạc Na Uy với giáo sư Elise Båtnes và được đào tạo chơi dàn nhạc chuyên nghiệp tại The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. Cô tốt nghiệp cử nhân tại Học viện Âm nhạc Barratt- Due, dưới sự chỉ dẫn của giáo sư Stephan Barratt-Due năm 2020. Nhi là một nghệ sĩ độc tấu hoạt động tích cực kể từ khi cô mới 11 tuổi, đã theo học chương trình đào tạo thần đồng ở học viện Barratt-Due tại Nauy, và biểu diễn bản Concerto cung Mi thứ của Mendelssohn với dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Quốc gia Việt Nam. Cô biểu diễn cùng rất nhiều dàn nhạc trong nước và quốc tế, như Trondheim Solistene, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Stavanger, Oslo Camerata, Forsvarets Musikk Orchestra, Dàn nhạc Giao hưởng Romerike, dàn nhạc Barratt Due KAMFIL, và dàn nhạc Fort Collins, Hoa Kỳ. Năm 2015, cô đạt giải nhất cuộc thi Sparre Olsen dành cho tài năng trẻ tại Nauy, tổ chức tại Gjøvik. Là một nghệ sĩ biểu diễn đa dạng phong cách và đa năng. Kể từ năm 2019, cô chính thức làm cộng tác viên và đi lưu diễn cùng các dàn nhạc có tiếng ở Na Uy như Oslo Philharmonic, Dàn nhạc Đài phát thanh NRK của Nauy, The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Det Norske Kammerorkester, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra và Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. Cô đã thu âm một số album trong Dàn nhạc Thính phòng Na Uy những năm gần đây và với các hãng như Deutsches Gramophone vào năm 2022, Lawo (2023). Cô cũng là bè trưởng tại dàn nhạc trẻ quốc gia Ungdoms Symfonikerne từ 2020 đến 2023, lưu diễn toàn quốc và các nước châu Âu. Nhi có hoạt động trong nhóm tứ tấu đàn dây Horus tham dự Oslo Quartet Series từ 2020, tích cực biểu diễn tại Nauy. Từ cuối năm 2023, Nhi tham dự cộng tác viên trong vai trò bè trưởng tại Dàn nhạc giao hưởng Mặt trời và guest concertmaster tại VNSO. Cô hiện đang chơi cây vĩ cầm được làm bởi Bernadel tại Pháp, năm 1899. Do Phuong Nhi graduated “Master of Violin Performance” in 2022 at The Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Elise Båtnes and Orchestra Academy at The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra. She graduated her bachelor’s degree at the Barratt-Due Music Institute with Professor Stephan Barratt-Due in 2020. Nhi has been an active soloist since she was 11 years old, attended young talents training programs at Barratt-Due in Norway. She performed Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. She has been performing with many national and international orchestras, such as Trondheim Solistene, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Camerata, Forsvarets Musikk Orchestra, Romerike Symphony Orchestra, Barratt Due KAMFIL Orchestra, and the Fort Collins Orchestra in USA. In 2015, she won first prize in the Sparre Olsen competition for young talents in Norway, held in Gjøvik. As a diverse and versatile performing artist, since 2019, she has been working as an extra orchestral musician and touring with orchestras in Norway such as Oslo Philharmonic, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, Det Norske Kammerorkester, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and Stavanger Symphony Orchestra. She has recorded several albums with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra in recent years, with labels such as Deutsches Gramophone in 2022, and Lawo (2023). She is also the concertmaster and leader at Norwegian National Youth Orchestra (Ungdomssymfonikerne) from 2020 to 2023, touring nationwide and in Europe. Nhi has her own Horus string quartet, participated in the Oslo Quartet Series since 2020, and actively performed in Norway. Since the end of 2023, Nhi has participated as guest leader at the Sun Symphony Orchestra and guest concertmaster at Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. She plays a violin made by Bernadel in France, 1899.
